We’ve reached the end of the Human campaign – The Scourge of Lordaeron in Warcraft III: Reforged with Chapter Nine – Frostmourne, one of the most iconic missions in the entire Warcraft series. After everything that has happened throughout the campaign, it all leads to this moment. Arthas has pursued Mal'Ganis across Northrend, pushed away those closest to him, and become completely focused on achieving his goal. This chapter feels less like the end of a campaign and more like the beginning of a much larger story. From a gameplay perspective, Frostmourne does a great job of building tension. The mission keeps you moving forward while constantly reminding you of what’s at stake. There’s a sense that every step is leading toward a decision that can’t be undone. What I love most about this chapter is how well the story and gameplay work together. Even if you already know what happens, there’s still something powerful about seeing Arthas' journey unfold and watching the choices that ultimately shape his fate.
