Hollywood Keeps Ruining Their Movies!
Hollywood has a long history of stepping into movies after the director already made the choice. In this video, I look at studio interference through Blade Runner, Brazil, Once Upon a Time in America, and Justice League. These are movies where narration, alternate cuts, changed endings, reshoots, or release decisions became part of the movie’s legacy. I also look at the other side of the argument. Quentin Tarantino refused to change Once Upon a Time in Hollywood for a bigger China release. Peter Jackson pushed back when The Lord of the Rings was being considered as one movie.
