In the Old Testament, sacrifices symbolized atonement, but they could never fully appease God’s justice. In Christ, however, God Himself provides the perfect propitiation. Jesus bore the wrath we deserved and, by doing so, reconciled us to God. This act flows entirely from God’s grace—His love moved Him to satisfy His justice through the cross. Propitiation guards both God’s holiness and His mercy, proving that salvation is both costly and secure. 📖 Bible Readings: John 3:36 (1 John 2:2; 1 John 4:10; Romans 2:25, 3:25; Hebrews 2:17; Isaiah 53:5; Leviticus 16:15-16; Romans 3:23-28) 👨🏻‍💻 Teachings: 1.
