Built by Julius Berger in 13 Months: The History of Aso Rock Villa

It was built by the construction giant, Julius Berger – in just 13 months. The contract for its construction was awarded by the Military Government of General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida with a mandate to the construction company to begin and complete the construction of the building from foundation to finishing without any delay whatsoever.
