The Kuwaiti army said in a statement today that its armed forces are dealing with "hostile attacks resulting from the heinous Iranian aggression against the country," and are working to intercept and repel them. Kuwait stressed the continued performance of the armed forces' duties and responsibilities, within the framework of constant readiness and preparedness, in order to enhance national security and preserve the safety of citizens and residents, according to the statement. In the same context, US President Donald Trump threatened to expand attacks on civilian infrastructure in Iran, saying that power plants and bridges would be targeted if Tehran did not return to the negotiating table. In an interview with Fox News, Trump said that the United States would strike Iran "very hard" in the coming nights. Trump said, "In the week Next, things will get very bad for them. We will destroy all their power plants. We will destroy all their bridges if they don't come back to the table and negotiate." When asked if the strikes would continue, Trump said, "They will continue until I say enough is enough."
