The excavated material from the new Eisberg retention basin in St. Pölten is temporarily stored on site. A bulldozer makes the area required free and pushes the topsoil aside. Much will be changed in the course of the city expansion on the Eisberg. In addition to new settlement areas, the expansion of the city forest creates a new local recreation area. And in order to be prepared for heavy rain events, a large retention basin is created. In this video we watch a CAT D6T LGP bulldozer clearing the storage area for the excavated material.
