That’s right, Mat’s got his hands on the new four-wheel-drive BMW M3 Competition, and he’s going up against two other AWD cars, the Tesla Model 3 Performance & the Audi RS5! Does the BMW have what it takes to take down the opposition? Well, let’s check out the stats… It’s powered by the same 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six as you’ll find in the RWD edition, and it’s got the same power output - 510hp & 650Nm. It’s a bit heavier, though, weighing in at 1,780kg. Alongside Mat’s the Model 3 Performance, which is powered by a 75kWh battery pack & dual electric motors to deliver 460hp and 640Nm. It also tips the scales at 1,850kg. So sure, it’s a bit down on power, but will the ability to instantly put down the power help out? Finally, we have the Audi RS5. It’s the least powerful car here, with its 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 putting out 450hp & 600Nm. But it’s also the lightest, weighing in at 1,740kg. Will it be an easy one for the BMW?
