Making a 1940's Dress ~ Sewing the Butterick B5281 Vintage Dressmaking Pattern from 1946

Hello My Lovelies! In this video I'm spending a cosy day sewing a vintage reproduction dress in my sewing studio. This vintage reproduction sewing pattern is a little tricky, so if you're going to sew it for your own vintage inspired handmade wardrobe, then I've tried to point out the difficult bits for you. I'm using Butterick B5281 which is no longer in print but you can get copies on Ebay and the lovely Viscose Challis in from Rainbow Fabrics in Kilburn. I think they may have sold out but they have lots of other lovely fabrics to choose from! https://www.rainbowfabrics.co.uk/ There are a few interuptions from cats and the odd seagull but I had a lovely time sewing this dress out of a lovely fabric that I shared with you in last weeks video.
