It’s the perfect place to settle in, meet new friends, and prepare for our adventure together. Day 2 – Esztergom Esztergom is one of Hungary’s oldest cities and home to the country’s largest basilica, perched high above the Danube. The views are spectacular, and it’s a wonderful introduction to the history and beauty of this remarkable river. Day 3 – Bratislava Today we visit Slovakia’s charming capital, where cobbled streets, colorful buildings, and welcoming cafés create a relaxed atmosphere. Overlooking it all is Bratislava Castle, with panoramic views across the Danube. Day 4 – Dürnstein & Melk Many people consider today’s cruise through Austria’s Wachau Valley to be the highlight of the entire journey. We’ll visit the storybook village of Dürnstein and the magnificent Melk Abbey, one of Europe’s most beautiful Baroque monasteries. Day 5 – Linz or Salzburg Today you can choose between two wonderful Austrian experiences. Explore the elegant riverside city of Linz, or visit Salzburg, Mozart’s birthplace and the enchanting city made famous by The Sound of Music. Day 6 – Vienna Vienna is a city of imperial palaces, beautiful gardens, world-famous music, and elegant cafés. Whether you’re strolling through the historic center or simply soaking up the atmosphere, it’s a city that leaves a lasting impression. Day 7 – Budapest We return to Budapest with time to enjoy more of this magnificent city, from its grand boulevards to its stunning riverside views. It’s a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the friendships we’ve made and the memories we’ve shared along the Danube.
