Altra vs.Topo: Is 2026 the Year I Switch Back?

I made the switch to Topo several years ago after tiring of Altra's worsening fit and slippery soles. I loved the comfort of Altra but for more rugged and technical routes, I needed the solid fit and grippy Vibram soles of Topos. Recently Altra changed up their fit (again...) and put Vibram soles on their ultra-comfortable Timp line. Is it time to make the switch back to Altra?
