This Many Spurdog on the East Coast | Irish Shore Fishing

I head out for a chilled shore fishing session on the east coast of Ireland in December, not expecting much and definitely not so many spurdog. I originally thought they were smoothhound in the video. What starts off as a quiet winter session turns into a proper surprise, with six spurdog, two shore rockling, and a few whiting caught as well (some off camera!). Fishing from around two hours before low tide until one hour after, the session really came alive at just the right time. This is relaxed, honest Irish shore fishing, no hype, no guarantees, just getting out and seeing if it’s worth a cast.
