Crabs and scallops... However, Monbetsu City is vast! Dairy farming is thriving in the surrounding areas! So, we decided to do an impromptu interview at "Mirton House," a restaurant run by Kita Farm, a dairy farm we discovered along the way! They kindly agreed to our interview (in Hokkaido dialect) and shared a lot of information with us! They were incredibly kind! And the food was truly delicious!! They explained that the reason they started the sixth-sector industrialization [primary (production), secondary (processing), tertiary (sales)] was because they had started raising pigs.
