Meanwhile, the IRGC announced missile and drone launches in a joint operation, claiming to have targeted the US-owned King Abdullah II and Prince Hassan bases in Jordan. Iran also claimed to have targeted an F-15 aircraft support facility, destroyed an MQ-9 drone, and damaged a US helicopter in its hangar. US President Donald Trump later declared that Iran "will pay a heavy price" for the attacks on US military bases. In this development, four United States soldiers were reported killed: two Army soldiers killed by Iranian missile and drone attacks in Jordan, one soldier previously reported missing in Jordan, and another soldier killed in Iraq.
