Civil Society Seminar Series: The evolution of European banking supervision
The European banking sector appears resilient to the challenges it has faced up to this point. What role has effective supervision played in this and have these challenges forced us to change how we supervise? Linette Field, Director General On-site & Internal Model Inspections and Sofia Rico Toscano, Deputy Director General Horizontal Line Supervision met with civil society representatives to discuss the role of effective supervision in keeping banks sound and resilient and how European banking supervision has evolved since 2014.
