SCUBA Lets Go Dive The HMCS Yukon - Marissa Dive Boat, San Diego, CA, 2025 - 4k

Diving the HMCS Yukon in San Diego, California. Commissioned in 1963, the Yukon was sunk in 2000 as a part of the San Diego Sunken Harbor. Now She lies from 70-110 feet of sea water. A popular attraction to divers, she is riddled with cutouts and passages for them to traverse. Today we are having some fun doing laps around the old beast on scooters for dive one, before saddling up for some deep penetration on dive two. If you'd like to see more stills from this trip, check out my flickr album here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/2025068... Difficulty Rating: AOW, Due to the depth of this site you absolutely need that advanced cert, the likelihood of cold water and smungy conditions add to the inherent stress on fresher divers. If you want to pursue full penetration as shown here, that rating gets bumped to an AOW+, its very easy to get lost or silt out a wreck, foundationally secure divers with experienced guides might be interested but others should continue to explore the outside of the vessel instead. Camera Gear: Video shot with Ace Pro 2 and Insta 360 X5. Video Lights are BigBlue CB7200p and VL150000p Dive Gear: Atomic M1 first and Second Stages, OMS 45lb doubles wing, Hollis SS plate, Bare Xmission drysuit, SP Jet Fins, Atomic Venom Mask, Shearwater Perdix2, DeWalt Workman's gloves Extra Gear: Today I am operating a DiveXtras Blacktip exploration DPV. My fellow diver is operating a Blacktip Tech. Chapters: 00:00 Intro 00:18 Dive1 - Scootin 05:30 Dive2 - Penetration
