In Voorburg werd Koningsdag begonnen met een aubade. Vanwege de regen is de aubade in de oude kerk van Voorburg gehouden. Alle gedecoreerden waren uitgenodigd en werden toegesproken door Burgemeester Martijn Vroom. De muzikale begeleiding werd verzorgd door Muziekvereniging Sint Caecilia Voorburg
