I Explored One of Arizona's Most Remote Places
After spending a few days visiting friends in Phoenix, it was time to get back on the road and do a little exploring. After looking around on Google Maps, I came across the KOFA National Wildlife Refuge and knew I had to check it out. Established in 1939, the refuge was created to help protect the desert bighorn sheep that call this rugged landscape home. Today, it covers more than 665,000 acres, making it one of Arizona's largest protected wildlife refuges. With only two days to explore, I wanted to experience as much of KOFA as possible. From camping under the stars and watching incredible desert sunsets to searching for wildlife, cooking good food at camp, and hiking through the mountains, this trip had a little bit of everything. Even with daytime temperatures hovering around 105°F in the middle of summer, my first visit to KOFA was one I'll never forget. If you enjoyed the adventure, don't forget to like the video, subscribe, and let me know where I should explore next! #roadtrip #travel #honda #crv #arizona #desert #remote #wilderness #kofa #southernarizona #carcamping #solotravel Music: Spirit by Alex-Productions / alexproductionsmusic License: Creative Commons — Attribution 3.0 Unported — CC BY 3.0 Free Download / Stream: https://links.al/mU9 Music promoted by Audio Library: https://links.al/youtube
