Last year I uploaded a video in which I discussed and analyzed the origins of most of Honduras's current inhabitants. In this video, I want to talk about Honduras again, but focusing on the Honduran diaspora and immigration. Most Hondurans abroad live in the United States and Spain. Interestingly, the Honduran communities in both countries differ in several characteristics. In Spain, Honduran immigration is quite recent compared to the flow of Hondurans who have emigrated to the United States over the decades. Another very interesting fact is that the majority of Honduran immigrants in Spain are women, unlike in the United States, where traditionally more men have migrated. These and other facts are what I will mention throughout the video to better understand the two main Honduran communities abroad. I hope you enjoy the analysis.
