Tsukuba Circuit TC1000 ENJOY Driving Event 2023 - IMP WRX EVO Enjoy 走行会

The Enjoy Meeting held at TC1000, known officially as the 'IMP WRX EVO Enjoy 走行会', has been a staple in the EVO and Impreza enthusiast community for a few years now. Hosted by DKM and friends, it gives fans of these all wheel drive chassis' a chance to get together at the track and drive together. My wife was flying in the day of this event, so I decided to stop by Tsukuba in the morning on my way to Narita airport. Surprise, surprise, I was late, and by the time I arrived the Super Lap portion was over. Turns out the organizers pushed the Super Lap up in anticipation of rain later in the day; and rain it did. I was pleasantly surprised to see Shibata at the event upon my arrival, as I had just went to Arvou earlier in the week to drop off some stuff to him. There were a few other familiar faces at the event as well, including Yuji (blue Arvou S2000), Ootori (BT Racing Evo 4), Aki from Bar 11, Okizo (Garage Peax S13) and a few others. A lot of the cars in attendance are cars that viewers always request to see more of, but I rarely run into at the events I attend; mostly because they are more street oriented builds. It was refreshing to see so I made sure to do a full walk around of the paddock.
