Slicer for Fusion, (formerly 123D Make,) is an innovative piece of software that will convert a solid 3D STL into slot together puzzle made from flat, 2D profiles. It will even generate origami style folded faces to form the original 3D object. It is free, available for PC and Mac, and despite its name, is usable as a standalone; separate to Fusion 360.
