When is it time to tow? An overheated engine that is not working, very little wind, and a swell pushing towards land. One harbour is over 15 miles away. It’s an unknown with a narrow entrance down a river that definitely requires an engine. The harbour we left is 8 miles behind us and we just might be able to reach it before the winds kick up and night falls. Do we break the glass and start towing our friend towards a safe harbour?
