[Checkup Video]: The JCPenney Elevator | Vancouver Mall

Filmed 10/2/2021 Just decided to film a checkup video on this thing since it was inspected on the 1st of this month. To my surprise, nothing has really changed. They supposedly fixed the phone, and they also cleaned the pit. As far as the doors, fixtures, and lanterns, nothing's changed (apart from the fact that the LL button no longer lights up). The gap has gotten slightly worse since my last visit. I am becoming concerned for the door equipment because it seems to be struggling a bit. I really hope this thing gets modded sometime soon, but I doubt it due to the fact of JCPenney's financial struggle, and how they want to save money. I bet they're gonna keep this original until it completely falls apart and breaks down. Installed in 1979. Modernized in 2006. Enjoy! © 2021 Elevators of Washington State
