Violento asalto en zona 2 deja muerto a ciudadano estadounidense en Guatemala

A robbery that occurred in the early hours of July 27th in Isabel La Católica Park, Zone 2 of the capital, killed Christopher Howard, a U.S. citizen originally from Louisiana who had been working in telecommunications in Guatemala for two months. The attack was recorded on video: the assailant stole his cell phone and, before fleeing on a motorcycle, shot him. Christopher tried to run but fell a few meters later. Thirteen days later, he was identified, and his family is arranging his repatriation to the United States. Neighbors in the area are reporting an increase in violent incidents and are calling for increased police presence in the area.
