Trinidad Callaloo with Crab | Taste of Trini

Callaloo is a typical Trinbagonian Sunday dish. This can be served like a soup, with rice, or drizzled over macaroni pie. Here's how I make Callaloo with crab. Enjoy! You'll need: 8- 10 dasheen bush leaves 3-4 crabs, seasoned 2 cups of chopped ochroes or okra 1 1/2 cups of chopped pumpkin 1 carrot, chopped 1/4 cup of celery chopped 8-10 pimentoes 1/4 cup green seasoning 1 1/2 cups of coconut milk 1 Knorr vegetable bouillon cube 1 hot pepper 1 onion, diced 1 tbsp golden ray butter a few sprigs of fine thyme 2 tsps of grated ginger 1/4 cup chopped scallions Like, Subscribe and Leave me comments- I want to hear from you!
