Forging a Viking axe by hand part 1.
Forged from Wrought iron and steel, without machinery or welding equipment. --- Attention - Crosses forged into late Viking axes is NOT my idea, please checkout part two, there you can see a picture of a real archaeological example from Scandinavia. -- The struggle between Christian "Vikings" and real Vikings where not over in a few hours, and there are many archaeological examples of Christian symbols mixes with Viking symbols. The Axe is not meant for cutting wood! and the thin hollow structure is made to make a super fast low weight Axe. This "Dane axe" is a battle axe based on some findings from Scandinavia. Music is made by Torben Will Iversen and Martin Schack.
