Kamienica Sessions S1: Damn

Damn, known to his friends as Żurek, is a creative selector who enjoys improvising and creating live mashups so that tracks play together as long as possible, as if they were made for each other. On the dancefloor, what drives him most is the moment of complete focus on the music — entering a trance — that's when his sets take on a unique intensity and fluidity. Damian places great importance on letting the music "breathe": he builds tension, guides the listener through successive stages up to the climax, taking care of both the intro and the outro. His sets are not a random collection of tracks, but a complete, carefully considered musical story. Regardless of which subgenre he's currently moving through, he always tries to sneak in a characteristic acid touch — most often inspired by the work of his favorite artist, KI/KI. Interestingly, he does this in an almost imperceptible way, seamlessly connecting tracks so that the listener has the impression of a natural, uninterrupted flow. His DJ dream is simple but sincere: he would like playing the music he loves to allow him to dedicate himself to it fully and for it to become his everyday life.
