I got my hands on the Radioddity GM30 Pro – two of them, actually – because apparently one GMRS radio just isn’t enough. This “Pro” version packs better build quality, a bigger battery, dual-watch, airband receive, commercial FM radio, weather channels, and enough accessories to open a small comms shop. I run it through the basics, show you the programming options (including wireless CPS from your phone), and point out CPS options on the computer. We also test whether it’ll transmit on anything it’s not supposed to… spoiler: nope.
