4K | Soissons to Marle | Aisne Department | France | 2021 | #40

Driving from Soissons on the D925 Highway, later joining the N2 to Marle. Soissons enters written history under its Celtic name (as later borrowed in Latin), Noviodunum, meaning "new hillfort". At Roman contact, it was a town of the Suessiones, mentioned by Julius Caesar (B. G. ii. 12). Caesar (B.C. 57), after leaving the Axona (modern Aisne), entered the territory of the Suessiones, and making one day's long march, reached Noviodunum, which was surrounded by a high wall and a broad ditch. The place surrendered to Caesar. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soissons My Equipment - Camera - https://amzn.to/3PlgZfB Camera 2 - https://amzn.to/3Ve90os Memory Card - https://amzn.to/43eHMA8 Suction Mount - https://amzn.to/3PhHbaU Multi Charger - https://amzn.to/3Vz3T2z Power Bank - https://amzn.to/3PlBrNo Laptop - https://amzn.to/3wZTySI External Hard Drive - https://amzn.to/43iBcbL Portable Power Station - https://amzn.to/3IBe92k Please Subscribe, it helps us more than you can imagine - https://bit.ly/3GTLtQv Filmed in June 2021
