Homemade fat balls are a great way to pack nutrition into your garden bird feeders over the colder months of the year. Follow along with my video to make your own fat balls, or any shape of fat food. All you need is a set of dry ingredients that birds can eat (like seed, peanuts, raisins, cheese) and lard. The ingredients ratio is 1 part lard for every 2 parts of dry ingredients.
