According to him, both the Iranians and the Trump administration are currently waging a consciousness battle in order to present themselves as winners. Iran seeks to convey a firm stance against the West, while Trump wants to present a significant political achievement ahead of the midterm elections in the United States. Beck rejects claims that Trump signed about a "surrender agreement," and claims that it is hard to believe that an American president facing a critical election campaign would agree to an agreement that would allow his political opponents to portray him as weak. However, he emphasizes that the text of the agreement has not yet been published, and therefore it is too early to draw conclusions. During the interview, Beck also addressed the possible influence of economic and environmental interests in the Middle East, including ties between elements close to Trump and the Gulf states.
