Inside Sven Goran Eriksson's wild fling with Ulrika Jonsson as he gifted her blank cheque

Sven-Goran Eriksson enjoyed a wild fling with Ulrika Jonsson before dumping her. The former England manager, who died on Monday, opened up on his brief romance with Ulrika in his Amazon Prime Video documentary titled Sven. Looking back at his affairs, Sven - who was famously in a relationship with Nancy Dell'Olio - said sex should be celebrated. "Sex is one of the good things in life for all of us," he said on the programme. "She was not married. I was not married. Probably I was stupid but I think I didn't do anything criminal. I didn't really disturb anyone." Ulrika shared her side of the story earlier this month and revealed after meeting Sven at a party held by Alastair Campbell, Sven "proceeded to call me every day when he went on holiday with Nancy, telling me I was beautiful and how much he wanted to see me". Describing how their fling played out, she told The Sun: "We met in the Club Lounge at Heathrow, pretending we had just met, and sat next to each other on the flight, almost giggling all the way." Ulrika explained she spent the night with Sven before he put a "blank cheque from Coutts" in her pocket when she wasn't looking.
