Day 8 - Fishing and Camping Trip on Damar Island / Edam Island, Seribu Islands, Jakarta Our fishing trip this time included land-based fishing, camping, and sightseeing around Damar Island / Edam Island, Seribu Islands, Jakarta. Disclaimer: This video is more like a review of the island and sightseeing. Our catch in this video was unlucky, aka a loss. 🙏😁 This was my first time setting foot on Damar Island. My two words for this island are "Wild and Enchanting." This island is quite well-known among anglers as a favorite spot for land-based or floating fishing (fishing from a boat) around Damar Island, thanks to the numerous fishermen around it. If you want to visit this island, it's best to prepare your logistics and camping equipment, as there are no lodgings, homestays, or food stalls on the island, or any residential areas. There are only island guards. As for access and routes to this island, I apologize, but my knowledge is still limited. What I do know is that to visit this island, you must rent a boat from a fisherman or boat provider. Trip fee is 100,000 Rupiah per person (join a community) / (You can find fishing communities on Facebook such as: Open Trip Mancing, Info Mancing Pulau 100, Landbase Fishing Club Kepulauan 100, etc.) Bait I brought: Live shrimp, minnows, gi, spoons, lures, and metal jigs.
