My First Week as a PhD Student in Hawaii | PhD Vlog #1

I am a first year PhD student studying Biological Oceanography at University of Hawaii at Manoa. This is a vlog about my first week as a graduate student... during COVID-19 times. In this week's vlog, I begin graduate school and work completely from home. I attend Zoom classes, work as a Teaching Assistant (TA), and try to figure out the best class/work schedule that works for me. This chatty vlog contains me getting a new desk (and the struggle to set it up), various cooking clips, at home workouts, my thoughts on graduate school thus far, and zero trips to the beach! Throughout this first week, I figure out the best way to manage my time as a first year PhD student.
