Deine Lakaien - Colour-Ize (The Concert That Never Happened Before)

Dear music friends and fans, the first song we ever recorded was "Colour-ize" which then opened our debut album. This LP was released in 1986, at that time only on strictly limited vinyl, and it would take until 1991 before the very first Deine Lakaien concert would take place. Back then we played "Colour-ize" with a mixture of electronic and acoustic instruments. Many years later, more precisely when the "April Skies" album was released in 2005, the idea arose of realizing a purely electronic concert as a duo for the first and so far only time. The legendary "The Concert That Never Happened Before" took place in the Hanoverian Capitol, exactly on the evening before our appearance at the M’era Luna Festival. There were no tickets to buy, because this particular concert was meant to be a special thank you for our fans. Anyone who bought the advance single for "April Skies" could register for this concert for free, and so it was a very special, unforgettable evening with our great fans and friends.
