This Desktop 3D Printer Embeds Actual Carbon Fiber—Here's What Happened
Today we’re taking a closer look at the FibreSeeker 3, a new desktop 3D printer that can embed real continuous carbon fiber directly into your prints. Not chopped fiber, not a blend—this is full-length reinforcement woven through every layer, and the results are impressive. This printer uses a dual-nozzle system where one nozzle handles your standard FDM material, and the second nozzle performs Composite Fiber Co-Extrusion (CFC). That means it can lay continuous carbon fiber inside the part to deliver structural strength that traditional filament can’t match. I walk through the design, build quality, print modes, how the carbon fiber is inserted, the Aura slicer, print results, and the few quirks and issues I ran into along the way. I also show some clear PETG parts where you can actually see the carbon fiber reinforcement inside the print. It’s wild to see in person. The FibreSeeker 3 launches on Kickstarter on November 17th, and you can find the link on-screen and in the description. I don’t do Kickstarter disclaimers—everyone here is an adult. If you’re interested in the technology, go check it out. It will also be available to the public in 2026. We’ll be doing a launch livestream on / loyalmoses at 7:00 AM Pacific on launch day with giveaways, behind-the-scenes discussion, and more printing using the FibreSeeker 3.
