Husband Allegedly Spent Wife's Money After Killing Her: Prosecutors

The trial of Zachariah Rasch began Monday afternoon, with prosecutors telling jurors during opening statements that he murdered his estranged wife, Crystal Rasch, after she was last seen alive with him on June 11, 2024. The state pointed to evidence including Crystal's blood allegedly found in Zach's vehicle, human remains identified as hers recovered from his property, and internet searches related to fatal gunshot wounds, cleaning products, sulfuric acid, and missing-person investigations.
