Iran war: Lindsey Graham skeptical of peace deal as Trump claims "I'm the boss" | FOX 10 Phoenix

There are plenty of questions about the Iran deal coming from Democrats as well as some Republicans, while the president says he is in charge. President Trump joked "I'm the boss" as he walked into one of the final sessions at the G-7 summit in France. He emerged answering more questions about the proposed agreement regarding Iran's nuclear program, which is currently a memorandum of understanding rather than a final deal. The president stated, "No it's not final, it's a memorandum of understanding and if I don't like it we'll go back to shooting at them, dropping bombs on their heads." The prospect of ships once again transiting the Strait of Hormuz has lifted markets and caused a big drop in the price of oil, with gas prices continuing their steady decline as well. While negotiations continue, the strait is set to fully open on Friday. Among the complications is an insistence from Iran's foreign minister that hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon must stop as well. Democrats say they want to see the deal before it is signed, and even big supporters of the president, like South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, are skeptical. Senator Graham stated that "Iranian media reports about the deal seemed concerning," to which President Trump responded, "Lindsey is skeptical? I'll have to talk to Lindsey. He'll be in big trouble." While the exact terms of the agreement have not been released, the president promised that he will not only release it, but will probably have a press conference and read it word by word. Questions still remain regarding whether that release will happen before or after the signing ceremony set for Friday.
