It's for life 9 - Episode 17: The History of Kimberley
Seputla orders the girls to pack their bags because they are leaving town. They have no idea where they are going but soon find out that they are going to the Historical Town of Kimberley. They visit the Big Hole Complex for an exciting treasure hunt where they learn how this town was formed because of a small shiny rock. Since 1994, the current government has been making attempts at land restitution with varying levels of success. Through the eyes of our three participants we will find out about various land issues and educate our viewers about these important issues. Throughout the season we also involves a variety of role players like the Department of Rural development and Land Restitution, knowledgeable professors and lecturers in the field, journalists, newspapers, Chief, curators, historians and artists.
