VCR Testing Tape

Five minutes of tape from me trying to resurrect an old linear stereo VCR from around 1996 by making short recordings and playing back to see the results. The Janet song you hear through out was something I had handy to test audio response. You'll see in the middle of the video a scrambled test pattern which is the ABC overnight test pattern being scrambled by the now obsolete lietch viewguard system.You'll also see the picture and sound doing various things as I plug and unplug and adjust various things.
