In this webinar Dr. James C. Wittig, Chairman, Orthopedic Surgery Morristown Medical Center and Medical Director, Orthopedic Oncology and Sarcoma Surgery, Atlantic Health System teaches how to approach the diagnosis of a bone tumor with X-rays and other radiological studies. Information in the webinar includes the various types of benign and malignant bone tumors and sarcomas and their radiological characteristics. Dr. Wittig also teaches his method of radiological interpretation to differentiate benign bone tumors from cancerous bone sarcomas and narrow down the differential diagnosis based on various X-ray characteristics. At the conclusion of the lecture, radiological pathological correlation is tested for various types of unknown examples of bone tumors.
