I first heard it on Dr. Angus MacDonald's first album "A'Sireadh Spors", a recording I played to death and still go back to. The march certainly isn't the traditional version, how could it be?? I've changed it to 7/8 and added a few... things. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Available in The MacIsaac Collection Vol I - coming soon in 2026! The classic slip / 9.8 jig Donald Willie and his Dog follow, and a lovely, popular little jig called the Lisnagun Jig by Brendan Ring.
