Biblical Jewish Holy Days session 13-A Importance to Christians. Sukkot, Feast of Tabernacles end in the holiday of Simchat Torah, "Rejoicing Over The Torah". Mottel Baleston, Messianic Jewish Bible Teacher came to saving faith in Messiah Jesus in his 20's, and for over 35 years have shared the claims of Messiah within his own Jewish community. This series of 15 classroom sessions were filmed in July 2025 before a group of 30 Messianic Bible students at the Ariel School of Messianic Jewish studies at the Shoshanah Campus in upstate New York. The doctrine here is fully in line with an evangelical understanding, with the additional background that the instructor brings as a Jewish believer in Jesus the Jewish Messiah and Savior of all. Each one-hour session is divided into two parts, a and b, averaging 28 minutes each for easier viewing. In addition to those biblical holy days in Mosaic law, also discussed are the post biblical holidays celebrated by God's people of Purim and Hanukkah. In addition to those the important Jewish holy days of Tisha B'Av and several others are discussed, as well as modern Israeli commemorations such as Holocaust remembrance (Yom HaShoah) and others. Their importance and relationship to Christian believers in Messiah Jesus is absolutely critical for understanding the Scriptures, and so back to is discussed. Messianic Rabbi Mottel Baleston was born into a Jewish home in New York City and attended Jewish and public schools there. He came to faith in Messiah Jesus after reading the Messianic prophecies in the Jewish Bible. He is Director of the "MESSENGERS OF THE NEW COVENANT", communicating the Good News of Messiah to the Jewish community, discipling Jewish believers and educating Christians concerning the Jewish roots of their faith.
