Comptia Network+ Chapter 11 Switching and Virtual LANs

In this video we return to layer 2 to see how switches operate and all the fun things we can do with them. Things like VLANs, trunks, forwarding based on MAC addressing (and learning) and controlling loops with spanning tree. We will also go over some of the security and non-security features found in production switches. For demos we will build a layer 2 topology, examine the forwarding of traffic and then modify things with VLANs, trunks and routing - all while watching what the spanning tree protocol does.
