On a day when the occasional showers had stopped, I visited Cheonggyecheon again for the first time in a while. I encountered the adorable duckling family that recently caused quite a stir. Many people gasped in awe as they followed behind the six ducklings swimming in a single file, following their mother. I also watched the ducklings' escape from danger. I observed herons and egrets in their natural habitat. I also spotted a rare soft-shelled turtle and various types of fish whose names I did not know. It was always refreshing to see foreigners enjoying Cheonggyecheon just as it is. It was a day where I was completely captivated by the unspoiled nature that made it hard to believe I was in the middle of Seoul. Watching a little dancer at Cheonggye Plaza fully enjoying a busking performance with cute movements was like a refreshing drink on a hot summer day.
