The first since the Z3 Compact which dropped last year is a true successor, carrying forward elements such as the 4.6-inch 720p display, 16GB memory and 2GB RAM. It makes the upgrade worthwhile though with its new Snapdragon 810 processor and camera sensor, capable of Clear Zoom, an improved digital zoom and a combination phase detection and continuous focus that can lock-on to a target in 0.3 seconds. The Z5 Compact can also shoot 4K video and offers all the IP68 waterproofing we've come to expect from Sony devices of old.
