TRUMP DA TERRIBLES NOTICIAS DESDE WASHINGTON DC
TRUMP ACCUSES CHINA OF ELECTION INTERFERENCE AND ORDERS INTELLIGENCE INVESTIGATION Donald Trump delivered a prime-time address from the White House and launched an explosive accusation: According to him, China obtained millions of files on American voters, and sectors of the intelligence community concealed key information about this threat. Trump presented declassified documents and claimed that CIA and NSA reports on Chinese activities were not properly included in his daily presidential briefing. He also pointed to internal communications that, according to the White House, demonstrate that some analysts downplayed or withheld information about China. His message was direct: If there was foreign interference and anyone concealed it, it must be investigated thoroughly. CHINA DENIES IT The Chinese embassy rejected the accusations and asserted that Beijing does not interfere in U.S. elections. But Trump ordered the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the CIA to review what happened, who made the decisions, and whether there was a cover-up. He also called for firings or criminal charges if warranted. This point is key: Trump isn't just talking about 2020. He's using the issue to push through new rules before 2026. THE BIG BATTLE: SAVE AMERICA ACT Trump linked the speech to his demand to pass the SAVE AMERICA Act. That law seeks proof of citizenship to register to vote, stricter identification requirements, and more controls on mail-in ballots. For Trump, the argument is simple: If a foreign power can obtain election data and if there are states with vulnerable voter registration, then the system urgently needs safeguarding. His critics say there is no evidence that China has altered election results. But the White House insists that vulnerability doesn't mean waiting for harm to occur. DHS ISSUES ULTIMATUM TO FOUR STATES The Department of Homeland Security also sent letters to California, New Jersey, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. According to DHS, a preliminary review cross-referencing public voter registration records with federal immigration databases detected potential non-citizens registered to vote. The reported figures exceed 250,000 potential cases. California has the highest number. Next are New Jersey, Nevada, and Pennsylvania. DHS says that in tens of thousands of cases, the name, date of birth, address, and Social Security number match federal records of non-citizens. The agency asked the states to coordinate by July 24 to verify identities and clean up voter rolls if necessary. THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT Being registered does not necessarily mean having voted. And a potential case is not a conviction. But for Trump and the Republicans, allowing even a single non-citizen to vote cancels the vote of an American citizen. That's why DHS warns that states that don't cooperate could face consequences, including legal pressure or risk to federal funds. The underlying issue is that these states don't use the federal SAVE system to verify citizenship, while other states do. CNN AND THE SPEECH The speech also sparked a media battle. Some networks decided not to broadcast it in its entirety or cut parts of it because they felt Trump was repeating disputed claims about 2020. For his supporters, that was censorship. For his critics, it was editorial responsibility. But politically, the effect was the same: Trump once again put election security at the center of the national debate. THE SUMMARY Trump accuses China of having obtained US election data. He orders an investigation into whether intelligence agencies withheld information. DHS pressures four states over potential non-citizens registered to vote. And the SAVE America Act returns to the center of the political battle. The question is no longer just what happened in 2020. The question is what the United States will do before 2026 to protect its elections. For Trump, the answer is clear: Proof of citizenship. Identification. Clean voter rolls. And zero tolerance for foreign interference. #Trump #China #Elections2026 #SAVEAmericaAct #DHS #MarkwayneMullin #FBI #CIA #NSA #ElectionSecurity #VoterID #ProofOfCitizenship #CNN #UnitedStates #USNews
