Snow, steel, and two great SIG P320s. In this episode we take a look at the classic Nikon FM10 alongside two excellent carry pistols: the SIG Sauer P320 RXP XCompact and the SIG Sauer P320 AXG Carry. I kicked things off outside in the snow photographing the guns before heading inside the range at WeShoot to put some rounds downrange. The P320 RXP XCompact is actually my personal everyday carry pistol, so I know it well. The P320 AXG Carry belongs to Vinnie, one of the managers here at the range, and it’s a beautiful piece with that metal AXG grip module. On the range the difference was noticeable. The RXP XCompact felt a little snappier with more felt recoil, while the AXG Carry shot smoother and flatter, likely thanks to the weight of the aluminum grip frame.
