This video explains the vertical yang rotation pattern of tai chi ball training. It is the second level of solo training after circling. Rotation contains two elements to it. one being the rotation of the ball and the other being the circling of the ball. The action is similar to the earth rotating on its axis and circling the sun. The rotation pattern of tai chi ball training is done both in a yang and yin direction and while stationary, rocking and stepping. there also is a yin/yang exchange that occurs which will be in a later video. For this video I am focusing initially on the rotation of the ball. once you have the proper movements of the rotation you will combine this with the circling of the ball.
