Philippines to Build AFP Space Command | Military Satellites Coming by 2028

The Philippines is preparing to enter a new era of national defense as the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) moves forward with plans to establish its own Space Command. Outgoing AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner confirmed that the Department of National Defense (DND) and the AFP are working toward creating an AFP Space Center that will eventually evolve into a full-fledged Space Command, with the goal of acquiring and launching military satellites by 2028.
