I'm living with THARUS (Indigenous Tribe of NEPAL)🇳🇵

Here I am in the district of Nawalparasi of NEPAL, near the Chitwan National Park, known for its wild life, exactly in the village of BARAULI. I decided to live with a Tharu community supported by the Homestay Community Network which helps local communities. By coming to their home rather than to a hotel, I contribute to the development of the village and its sustainability. I was able to live with the Tharus, this indigenous tribe of Nepal and meet extraordinary people like Shambhu and Isha, who will always remain in my memory. Together we saw the wild life of Nepal, the rhinos, we fished, witnessed traditional dances and cooked the snails very appreciated by the tribe. A trip that will remain etched in my memory.
